An Ambassador For: Sustainable Tourism – Travel – Community Engagement – Art – Culture – History – Heritage – Brand Connections – Storytelling.
As an avid traveler, my career has been influenced by the interactions of the people I have met along the way, their unique cultures – and the diverse communities they represent. Those professional and personal experiences continue to shape, influence and inform my approach to work, industry collaborations and key advocacy initiatives.
I am proud of the professional portfolio of contributed work within the hospitality field, the travel and tourism industry – and the wider cultural community. This work includes leadership within: Destination Marketing Organizations – Hotels – and Cultural Organization & Museums – and Non-Profits. Within each of those sectors I have contributed my expertise to champion sales and marketing programs, team development, business planning, civic & community relations, product launches, brand strategies and synergistic partnerships.
As a thought leader within the industry, I have had the unique opportunity to give-back and contribute to numerous programs including signature speaking & educational engagements with national and international tourism boards, cultural educational symposia, and non-profit institutes. Within this area, I also lend my time and support to U.S. Travel Association as an At-Large Director of the Board, the Advisory Board of the National Council of Attractions & Experiences, the California Travel Association, and select global committees and advisory councils.
Collectively, the diversity and balanced viewpoints of my career and personal contributions frame the authentic focus embodied in my continued work – with a spotlight firmly focused on the importance of always being engaged, authentic to the mission at hand – and the ultimate impact to the broader community and audiences they serve.
“The living history we share today – connects the stories of our past – to the experiences we will discover anew tomorrow.”
